I am a frequent kayaker during my free time and each time I go out I also try to pursue a new place to explore. This was my first time out on the Brandon River and was shockingly empty to tourists besides the quiet homes that resided on the perimeter of the river. I was very surprised to see so much active wildlife which was a first for me. After visiting this place I have a hard time even comparing Mayakka park to it. The abundance of wildlife was unbelievable which actually I thought was rare around the area. Going back to reading about the goals and intentions of the Florida Wildlife Conservation Project, I would have no doubt that the expansion of wildlife will flourish like the little bit of land that I got to see on my lovely day trip. After talking to some people who lived on the river also had a much more respected outlook to the animals they shared their home with which is the next step to informing all of the public that lives in Florida.
